Scarlet has no opportunity and no choices at her home. Her parents didn't want her to be born and to make matters worse she does no follow the rules of their harsh government. Scarlet is done with not being able to make her own choices so she joins a rebellious group of fearless teens called the Leave. Scarlet quickly makes her status known by being the bravest and then Liam comes. He seems to understand what challenging her would really mean and she finds herself trapped into feelings she didn't know she could have, but then her heart is ripped out and everything she loves seems to have turned to dust. But what will she do about the government planning to kill her and her friends off?
