Dove Noir has been a tad the rebel. Her dad is a singer, and her mother is a chef. Dove's been through a lot. Including a traumatic experience that took her months to get over. She still has the scars that remind her of it every time she looks at them. She's terrified of showing them, and even more terrified of how people will react to the truth.
The scars eventually cause some trouble for her. When Dove's dad comes back from his tour, he brings her a bass guitar that Dove instantly falls in love with, and her greatest dream of making a band seems to be on its way to being a reality. With her closest friends Kyla and Luke (and others), not to mention the world famous Queen Marie Antoinette, they'll make statements, fight battles, and tackle fears- like music was supposed to.
And Dove will be their songbird.
