Four years kept on the brink of death is enough to break anyone, but not me. Four years of having my limits tested and being seconds from death all the while and I'm still fighting, running, breathing. Having escaped from an inhumane top security testing facility in the middle of nowhere, Sharla runs for her life. Her path is dangerous and when she meets orphaned farm boy Jonah, will she follow her head or her heart? Follow Sharla on her journey as she battles the elements, her captors and her poor judgement on her way to safety.

Hayden, a fresh high school graduate with an itch for photography, something that wasn't mutually accepted by his mother. She always compared him to his military-serving older brother, Jack, who had set the standards of what was to be expected. In a last resort attempt, Hayden has to make the most significant choice of his life and does what he always threatened to do as a kid. Run away. With the help of a misfit-like individual, Hayden goes on an adventure of a lifetime. While unaware that his past is catching up to him. He'd inevitably have to decide how he wanted to live out the rest of his days, either as an office prisoner or a runaway.
