In the past, people were forced to look, act, and be with a person because of a prophecy.  It was going on well until a certain orphaned girl, Tristan Stone, decided she didn't want to be told what to do or how she would spend her life.  She decided to test the prophecy and go against it.  But when one of her actions put her "family" and her crush, Brendan Knight, into serious danger, it's up to Tristan to decide whether to give in to the prophecy and finally be controlled, or risk everything for her freedom and passion on her way to have a normal teenage life.
