Even Sam and Dean began to notice because you were beginning to get desperate, flirting any time you were around him, but you couldn't blame him. Your flirts weren't that good - a little elbow nudge there, sending him smiles when he's looking or not looking at you - and you understood why he wasn't reacting to them. You would think that he wasn't into you if he didn't act the way he acts when he's around you, nervous, stuttering whenever he tries to say something. Sam and Dean are chanting for the two of you to get together, but you're waiting for him to make the move. Well, that moment is finally here. You were just unaware of it.

Charlie, being the good friend she is throws a party and invites Cas. There's an interesting guy there that catches Cas' eye. Sweet fluff ensues, and it's soon after that Dean learns Cas' biggest secret. He is also faced with emotions he has never felt before, especially in regards to Cas. He finds himself jealous and angry when he sees Cas with Luke, and at his brother's suggestion he decides to confront his true feelings for his best friend, and tell him how he really feels. There is a lot of pain and heartache in the beginning for Cas, but I swear it ends on a good note. I hope you all enjoy!

Dean could still hear it, even now that they had been back for a few weeks. He could see the horror on Cas' face, the panic. He could hear the pain in his voice, recalled how it had twisted and turned in the depths of his eyes and contorted his features. He could still feel his own body go numb with hurt and shame, only to come alive with pain and dread once Cas told him about it. He hadn't been able to say it. He'd finally been ready to say it. But he didn't. Couldn't. Cas had begged him. Had begged him not to. "Dean. Please, if you're about to say what I think you are- please. Please, you can't-" Dean had waited so long to be able to say it, had fought and denied and swallowed those words, those feelings so many times. Now that he was ready to let them go, they weighed heavily on his heart, demanding to be set free and fly. Kept inside, they seemed to settle in his chest, pulling him down. It's nothing. Right? Maybe not...
