"Yo!" My mouth was agape as I looked at my parents and then looked towards my best friend.

"You're lying." I squinted my eyes and they shook their heads.

"We're going to Australia baby!" Hannah gave me a high five and I blew up with excitement.

"Do you know what this means?"
Hannah's parents looked at me like if I've grown two heads. "What does this mean?"

"It means meeting new people, seeing a beautiful place, and seeing hot guys, surfing and with their six packs and cute Australian accents and oh god I'm feeling faint." I pretended to fall back as Hannah stood me up.

"This is going to be the best year of our lives." I smiled at Hannah and agreed with her.

I can admit I really did think going to a new place to live there for an entire year can be fun and an adventure, let alone it being miles and miles away from Miami and Maryland.

I'm Jade Pink, yes my last name is Pink. In English that is, in Spanish it's "Rosado" but everyone calls me Pink, so I stick with that. My best friend is Hannah Bradshaw. Our parents work with Animals and even though they've worked with each for quite a while now, we've been separated.

Of course we thought it'd be all free time and talking about hot guys at the beach, shopping, having girl fun. What we didn't expect was to fall in love with two best friends of a boy band yet break their hearts once they find out that we weren't staying for long.
