Kissing has lost all it's former appeal to Mia when she lost her first kiss to her bestfriend. Said bestfriend, Tristan, was a horrible first kiss, and saying the kiss was sloppy would be putting it mildly.

When she comes back home, the promise she made to her dad, that they would be the best of friends and keep no secrets, is broken. She turns to the second thing she can open up to about her feelings — her diary — knowing how angry her dad might be if he found out about her getting drunk at a party and losing her first kiss because of a stupid dare.

But what happens when Mia's dad reads her diary when it gets misplaced and is found the next evening, two towns away, in her father's suitcase? He is angered and hell-bent on reaching home before the next morning, and the blizzard outside will not stop him. Camila Lockheart had better brace herself for what is to come, because if there is anything more unforgiving than her dad, it is the blizzard raging outside.
