“A boy? Of the opposite gender?” I joked. “Yes, I am. I was apparently assigned to you because of my clean record and sexuality. I don’t like girls.”
“Fine with me,” She huffed. “I don’t like men.”

If there was anything Jaron Fukumoto had learned from love, it was that it was a bitch. Except that he’d never dated one (a bitch, that is); he was gay. He’d been told from day one that he only liked girls, and everything about him agreed with that statement. Whether it was the fact that he just wasn’t turned on by naked women or how he’d never blushed while talking to one, he certainly appears the typical, clear-cut boy-lover. But his whole world turns upside down when he meets...
Arie Mika, the typical loner girl. Dead mother and noticeably absent father, she doesn’t understand the fluttery feelings that the girls in her books get when they touch, talk to, or even see a certain person. But having her heart broken by both a father and another past male in her life, she doesn’t know if she’ll ever understand.
When they meet, coincidentally or by fate, they both learn how to love again, and ultimately, what it really means to open their hearts again...
Even if it doesn’t end the way they want it to.

(note that Jaron doesn't deny that he's gay, and I'm not saying that he turned straight. Life just happens.
