That was what Joseph's mother Lilleth said to him on her death-bed, she made him promise to protect his mate if he ever found them, and he has every plan of doing so. Fate however spat in his face and gave him a mate that protected him, instead of the other way round.
Joseph is the future Alpha of Green River Pack, a tan wolf with some brown spots. very gay but he wouldn't protest if his mate identified as a female. His life is going somewhat good, he has a supportive family and his pack members are kind and there's no real big fights breaking out. but as two of his brothers, Jayden and Jack find their mates and settle down he can't help feeling lonely. when a tiger strays into their territory and promptly shows how freaky and dominating tigers are to Joseph's brother Jesse, a flash of white catches Joseph's eye, and a strange pull.
Miles isn't your ordinary tiger, as he believes it the goddesses cursed him with being albino, something his parents abandoned him at birth for. He doesn't grieve for his loss of family however, until it was time for him and his brother Marques to leave his aunt Jenny cared for them and gladly took on the rule her sister gave up. now, 19 years since he was abandoned Miles had kinda become famous as the White Tiger, he often takes it upon himself to stop any sketchy or just plain wrong shit going on in the woods. he is somewhat stronger then your average tiger, able to take on most other animals without serious injury. when he catches a glimpse of tan fur and starts to feel a pull he never thought he'd feel he realizes his simple life may be about to go to shit.
