Eighteen year-old Lee Indridason has a priceless gift. He can play any musical instrument like a master, within minutes of laying hands on it. He's graduated high school, his band is on the rise, and he's found a very special girlfriend, Jesse...who happens to be a Wiccan. The future's wide open for this young Texan from humble beginnings.

Only his priceless gift comes with a price. Enough anger or pain can trigger uncontrollable, violent rages. A wild animal sleeps inside of him, always waiting to be awakened. He calls it "The Steppenwolf". And drugs and alcohol are the only things he knows of that can keep it dormant.

Initiated into Jesse's coven as a fledgling witch, Lee finds close friends, wise teachers, and a personal path that feels right. One that reveres Nature and trains him in the Old Ways -- the ways of magic -- and ways in which he can begin to control the Steppenwolf without using drugs and alcohol. But he soon discovers that, for the strongest, the path of the witch is fraught with danger -- both from Nature's "world unseen", and from one's fellow witches. "Perfect love and perfect trust" become expendable tenets for those who harbor jealousy, ego, and hunger for power and prestige.

And even if Hell and demons are nothing more than Christian myths, there lurk things in Nature easily as terrible. And some far, far worse.

Before school even begins, 17-year-old Jake Kent is attacked by an enormous gray wolf. He's saved by a mysterious blonde, but things get even more unbelievable when he watches the wolf transform into a human. When he sees this woman is a teacher at his new school, you'd think Jake would file for a transfer, but he doesn't. Jake Kent isn't the damsel in distress that so many would expect; he wont run from the mystery. He hasn't told anyone about the attack, but he hasn't forgotten it. When Hunter Sin enters his life, predictability goes out of the window, and an epic story truly begins. Excerpt from Chapter 20 : "The story goes: There once was a priest who protected his village during the night. He said prayers to the gods in order to keep his family and friends safe from the dangerous animals around them. For years, the prayers were enough to drive the wild animals away. Yet on one night where the land was illuminated by the full moon, the beasts began to rise on two legs. The large cats and mongrels that typically fought against each other, banded together under one beast. It was a monstrous wolf the size of a lion with fur as white as the moon itself. "One by one, the beasts neared the town as they followed from behind the white wolf. As the villagers fled into their homes, the priest and his daughters gathered the day-hunters to his side. They watched as the approaching monsters stood and stalked the village fence. The wolf was strong and smarter than the rest. Even in its guttural snarling voice, it managed to speak to the priest. 'You've trespassed too long. Abandon your homes or forsake your lives.' The priest refused without hesitation and stared the ten-foot wolf down." Jake listened to the story with baited breath as he could see where the tale would go next.

On her first day of her second year, Maya starts hearing the rumors. They're impossible to ignore, whispers in the halls, sideways glances, and soft giggles when Leo walks by. His name always seems to come up in the same breath as tragedy. It's like everyone knows the details but no one will talk about them, like there's a dark cloud hanging over him. Some say it was an accident, others think it's something worse, but either way, Leo's the one you don't want to get too close to. Maya, however, isn't the type to shy away from rumors. Especially not when they start eating at her curiosity. There's something about Leo that pulls her in, like a puzzle she can't solve. She's been struggling with a hole in her life, the loss of someone she cared about, someone who's been gone for far too long. Desperate for answers and willing to do anything, Maya ends up making a deal. It's one of those things you hear about in hushed tones, something that sounds almost too unreal to be true, but she doesn't care. All she wants is for them to come back, and the cost? Well, she figures she'll deal with that later. But just as she's about to seal the deal, Leo shows up, like some kind of reluctant hero. He tries to save her, to break the bargain before it's too late, but his intervention backfires. The deal takes its toll on her in a way she never expected, half of her soul gets torn away, scattered across town. To make things worse, part of the demon that tricked her takes root inside her, filling the void and granting her powers. But it's not all gifts. With those powers comes the threat of losing who she is, of being consumed by the very thing she tried to control. Maya is left with a terrifying choice: use the powers to reclaim her soul or risk losing herself completely.

As a child you always fear the monster under your bed or in your closet. Maybe you watched a scary movie or were told a horror story to make you believe something was under there. You jump onto your bed and jerk your limbs away from the edge or always shut your closet door. Then you hide under the covers in hopes that they don't get to you. As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. His voice dripped with temptation that would make the devil jealous. His lips were brushing against mine as we leaned into each other. I felt like I was drowning in his presence. The hand that was on my breast had moved to my waist, keeping me close even as I tipped towards him. His hand was still on my sex, leisurely teasing the area. "Please," I whispered. Something mixed between a growl and a purr escaped him. It vibrated deeply from his chest. I thought he would kiss me but he didn't. His lips hovered over mine before they softly traced my cheek. I gasped when his hands moved to under my arms, moving me until I straddled his thigh.

**this book is completed!!** This is a story about werewolves with some witches and vampires thrown in. -Preview- I opened my eyes to see a woman standing in front of me. I don't know who this woman is or what's wrong. She has beautiful silver hair that's matted with leaves and sticks. Her face though beautiful is distraught, her face is a very creamy pale color. Her lips are as red as blood. She has tears running down her face and a bruise just below her left eye. She's holding my necklace. The moonlight shines on the single engraved word "Noel". "Take this." She says, "Noel! Take this and run. Put it around your neck and never, NEVER take it off. It will keep you safe." The woman hears something and turns around to look, then looks back at me with panic and sorrow in her eyes. I hear a male voice behind her mumbling something, I can't make out what he's saying. I can't make out the man's face as he walks up behind the woman and squeezes her shoulders. He takes the necklace wincing and slips it over my head. They're talking to me but I can't hear what they're saying. I only see the panic in their face. "Noel! RUN." I hear screams and growls as I'm running as fast as I can. I make it out of the woods and onto a street. I hear the woman's blood curdling scream before I'm blinded by a light and everything fades to darkness.
