After her abusive mother takes it one step too far and with no father to go to, Scarlett Evananz is sent to live in foster care till further notice. While she is glad to get out of her old home, she soon learns foster care is no better. Mental abuse along with more physical abuse, and she's had enough. She packs up and leaves. 
She doesn't get far before she's caught and brought back to the foster home. Her foster parents are furious, but she's saved from being beaten to death by none other than the singer from her favorite band: Garret. 
Sure she's safe from the hellhole of a foster home; but she's nowhere near "okay". Can Garret and the band help her hold on till the pain ends?

People die and people you thought you knew show a whole different side. Garret finds himself distancing from everybody. Because if he's not close to anybody, they cant get hurt. Right?  One day while at a fight he runs into Keeley, who is a spirited and confident little fireball. when they met it left an impression on Garret, soon he finds himself wanting to know her more. and soon, he find's himself falling for her.  Everyone Garret's ever loved has died, has gotten hurt, or stabbed him in the back.will he be able to trust her enough to let her close,or push her away to keep them both from getting hurt? © 2013
