A young girl is living on the streets after her parents died and her older goes brother ran away. One day a newsie finds her in the alley and he teaches her how to be a newsie. Years pass and the girl is now the leader of Queens. The queen of Queens to be exact. After she becomes the leader, the girl finds out her brother has been a newsie too. And they reunite. Suddenly Queens and Brooklyn get into a turf war. Alone they must fight each other. This on for weeks until one day the girl realizes that she has feelings for the strong leader of Brooklyn Spot Conlon. All this to juggle and the strike too. What is she going to do? Amari Santana. At least that's her real name but people call her 'Minx' cause of her perfectly well shaped face, full lips, and big doe eyes as well as siren eyes. Plus well-defined jawline, nicely tan and pinkish cheeks. They call her 'Minx' because of the flirtatious way she looks at people with her eyes. The way she smirks. She can easily bring people on their knees. When she meets one person... her enemy, supposedly she thinks he is. Spot Conlon, King of Brooklyn. They have never met before but when problems happens between Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and other territories they have to work together. She is a real good fighter and can take care of herself pretty well. When she was 5, her parents were taken away and murdered, therefore she had to run away and ended up in Manhattan, for everyone thought she was the one that did it. Jack Kelly, who became her unofficial brother, took her in after a few years and brought her up to fight and sell papers. She has no need to dress up as a boy, being herself is much more intimidating. Tempest cannot do anything and thinks there should be more excitement in her boring dull New York life. Spot is the feared newsie leader from Brooklyn. He is known as a big womanizer, but he hasn't found "the one" yet. Right now he is with a girl named Livia, a greedy shirtwaist factory girl. He is a pretty good leader for Brooklyn, his cane that he stole from Pulitzer and his slingshot are his main weapons. Being intimidating has always been his way to get people to do what he wants, but it doesn't work on Tempest, not one bit. As they meet, will these two powerful newsies clash?
