A young girl is living on the streets after her parents died and her older goes brother ran away. One day a newsie finds her in the alley and he teaches her how to be a newsie. Years pass and the girl is now the leader of Queens. The queen of Queens to be exact. After she becomes the leader, the girl finds out her brother has been a newsie too. And they reunite. Suddenly Queens and Brooklyn get into a turf war. Alone they must fight each other. This on for weeks until one day the girl realizes that she has feelings for the strong leader of Brooklyn Spot Conlon. All this to juggle and the strike too. What is she going to do?
