♔ WE FIGHT OURSELVES ♔ He's terrifying. He's violent. But he's also courageous, loyal, and highly intelligent. The leader of the infamous underground gang Memoria, Paxton Amundsen's history is scarred with blood, and his solitary attitude repels him from others. Used to always taking care of his gang members, he's unwilling to trust because of his violent past and his physical scars. But when a girl shows up with her baby nephew, tangled in the same bloodshed as he is, he has to decide whether he'll protect her from his enemies - or push her away forever. The grisly death of Sparrow Song's older brother left her with the bitterness of injustice and the sole responsibility of his young son. Although shy and insecure, she's extremely sensitive to the pain of the people around her and can only see the good in others. She knows she shouldn't get involved with the same type of people who killed her brother, but she can't keep herself from an opportunity to find information about her brother's death. Things start to get difficult, however, when she becomes attached - especially to the prickly, sardonic gang leader of this rebellious underground group. ☀ © 2015 Sweatshirty ☁
