The grisly death of Sparrow Song's older brother left her with the bitterness of injustice and the sole responsibility of his young son. Although shy and insecure, she's extremely sensitive to the pain of the people around her and can only see the good in others. She knows she shouldn't get involved with the same type of people who killed her brother, but she can't keep herself from an opportunity to find information about her brother's death. Things start to get difficult, however, when she becomes attached - especially to the prickly, sardonic gang leader of this rebellious underground group.
