Eridan Ampora came from a long line of fisherman who used destructive ways to fish creatures out of the sea. When his only brother was found dead in an abandoned warehouse, Eridan isolated himself in his ship and made a living off of selling fresh catch to the fish market on the docks. Hearing a rumor there about a breeding ground for cuttlefish at a mysterious area named Mermaid Bay, infamous for landing boats into shipwrecks upon the protruding rocks and other forlorn debris, the prince is restless to go explore. But what he finds at this forbidden breeding ground is much more precious than any cuttlefish he could sell; the only fish he could never catch.
