"You guys have to stay together. Charlotte, you must move in."
"Excuse, me?" Charlie just met this guy seconds ago and he's already teling her what she "must" do.
"You don't understand, Charlie," he ranted.
Mason rolled his eyes, "Then help us. I'm not particularly excited about having her move in either, so why should she?"
The man smiled and shook his head. "You don't feel it?"
"Feel what?" Charlie and Mason said simultaneously.
The man turned from Charlie to Mason and said, "You want a reason. Okay. Because Charlotte is your mate."
Charlie gaped for a moment as Mason's jaw almost hit the floor. And then Charlie said four words and sixteen letters.
"Mates my lovely ass."

But when Charlie finds out that neither one of them are, and half the town also she has no idea wat to think or what to say. But when she finds out that the boy she absolutely loathes is her mate she has just enough to tell him.
