My momma used to say I'm special. Now and days I think I am but not in the way she meant. My daddy thinks of me as just another science experiment. I guess having one blue eye and one green eye makes you a freak. Freak. The word I heard at least once a day. It wasn't just my eyes. I always act weird and say the wrong things. I and everyone one I know think I'm different... In a bad way. Well, all but him.

I can tell
I'm different, I can read and see what people think. Every moment of everyday... it's not normal. I've been this way for too long.
