One day when Laura is walking home from the High school bus stop, she notices something in the corner of her eye. Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. People always wanted to unwind from school works and other personal problems. It might be going to parties, travel out of town or fly to other countries, or just having an adventure with mother nature. A group of students had a sudden boredom of clubbing and bar hopping every week. They thought about having an adventure instead. That is, away from their city that never sleeps. Kim found a spot outside their town, everyone agreed and was excited to be there. They already had plans on what to do when they get there. All of them packed their things and go. That adventure was new to all of them and they love it. The smell of fresh flowers and the cold breeze was refreshing.
