13 year old Evelyn Haynes moves to Sacramento, California, where she can start a new life in a new school. Being a 7th grader can be a bit tough too, especially in a big heat wave.

Little did Evelyn know what had been coming her way was not in her intention.

Knowing that such a big incident could have ever happened to such a sensitive person would make an unbearable impact on Eve's life.

Years later, when Eve is now 17, high school can bring you anything. The friendly neighbor who secretly cares, a crazy best friend, the cocky douche bag, who I won't forget is sexy, and an old good friend from back in middle school.
