Alternative Reality - the worlds’ first virtual reality game. A massive multiplayer online one. An opportunity for many to try out different things - to fill the void inside. Luke is no different. An average young adult, struggling with everyday life - living from one day to the other. Only partially employed, living alone.
In Alternative Reality though, he’s Wail. A slightly insane adventuring magician, enjoying a life full of challenges and innocent fun. How will his attempts at finding fulfillment inside virtual reality end?

Austin, a struggling boy who's trying to survive in a fallen economy following a third world war. Within a North Dakotan town, he has to face the challenges of taking care of his sick mother, making money through any means necessary. However, after surviving a gun shot wound that should've been fatal did Austin come to the realization of newly awakened abilities. From this newfound realization does Austin decide to start leading a double life thanks to the encouragement of a friend. During this time does he discover that there's an organization within the shadows wanting him, and all others like him, dead. Note: This is a prequel to my story Xtravaganza. That story is not a required read to understand this one, but both stories do take place within the same universe.
