She stood frozen in place and watched him wither away slowly, knowing there was nothing she could do to alter his fate.

This is a third person narrative describing my perspective of watching someone close to me suffer from a fatal illness. This is also my submission to the Wattpad Scholarship 2015. Hope you guys will love and support this short story :)
