"It was on a snowy winters night that the sentry happened upon the child in the woods. The silver rays of the midnight moon bathed her in the shadows of the ancient oaks as she wandered dreamily through the haunted forest." Lilah Moonchild was discovered under strange circumstances, found alone in the woods with nothing more than a bundle of crushed lilacs, a silver pendant that housed a strange yet beautiful black and quicksilver stone and a well worn brass key, she has always been a mystery. However she meets and befriends the young Prince Lysander. When she is sent to the Isle of Kade, she and Lysander must reconcile the bond they forged so many years ago to become what fate had always meant for them to be.

Forced to flee at the hands of their curse, the quest for refuge lead them past countless places, leaving whispers and legends in their wake. Finally, a safe haven was found and peace returned once more. But centuries later, the natural course of this story takes a sharp turn when a lavender-eyed girl arrives to disrupt their means of life in more ways than they could have ever foreseen.
