Briella Ashley finds mate of course it's the usual story of the quiet bright girl finds her alpha mate. Alpha Adam Jacobs. His great but he keeps her at arms length. It's hard for her to understand why. Why was he pushing her away. He wasn't mean, he didn't ignore her completely. He just didn't act like a mate. He didn't bring her on dates, wasn't affectionate, he hardly interacted with her. She felt like the wife with the husband that drifted away. Like he was having an affair, though she knew he wasn't. She figured they were life strangers he just didn't like her. But what will he do when she's kidnapped by Nicholas? She figured he would be able to live a hapi.slpier life after she's gone. But what happens when Nick shows!n her the affection her mate couldn't i.e.zerom.  when she sees Adam again will she listen to him? Or will she accept another in his place?  after all Adams the one that hadn't wanted her not really. So she thinks.
