I apologize for the delay, but I am still unsure where I want to go with this story and it is temporarily shelved in the meantime. I have restarted this story. I will be leaving the old version up, each old chapter will have this symbol next to it (x) but please note it will not be completed, and the new version will begin following the old chapters. New version is now available. The future looks bright for Ever After High- after Headmaster Grimm retired (FINALLY) and Queen Darling Charming got ahold of the Story Director office, she totally flipped the script and changed up all the rules. Now, incoming Ever After High students like Darling's own children will have their destinies assigned to them based on their personality and behavior. This is the start of these kids' Legacy Year- the beginning of the most important chapter of their lives.They're finding who they're going to be and what destiny they have been assigned. The story we once knew of the Ever After students may be ending, but you know what they say. The end is only the beginning. ***This is a story about the next generation of Ever After High students. we both love the outsiders and johnnyboy so why not write oneshots about them?! the au we're going to mostly be using is that they're living in our time (still the same setting). here's some details about it: • ages: darry - 23, soda - 19, pony - 17, johnny - 16, dally - 20, steve - 20, two-bit - 21 and a half. (we upped everyone's ages by 3 except johnny, because we originally upped pony's by 3. so we made it fair) • dally lives alone with his two puppers :') their names are booper (a sheltie + corgi mix) and waffle (a dachshund)! (he's a college drop out, but has a paying job) • darry is a college graduate and has a job that he loves. soda, steve, and two bit are still in college and are living with their families. • pony and johnny are, of course, in high school. • everyone's families are the same. (except maybe the fact that their parents are willing to pay for school. idk if they don't in the book) • everyone's personalities are the same. (we're sorry if we don't do their personalities exactly correct) • we may do aus in aus! which basically means we might do something like, cafe aus but we'll still use the facts from the modern au we have here! - p.j (the outsiders belong to s.e. hinton!! we just made a few tweaks) ~~~~~~ (update 3/11/18) the book is now finished. with schoolwork being stressful, personal problems, and me and p.j. becoming more distant (heck they don't even use wattpad anymore), neither of us have much time or motivation to continue. we're sorry, and we hope you enjoyed the book while it lasted. - todd
