Cassidy Waters is a wannabe junior journalist who lands her big break interviewing the famed superhero Dusk at his commemoration ceremony. This would have been a dream come true for any journalist, but unfortunately for Cas she has already met Dusk and was less than impressed with his cocky behavior, that and the fact that he got blood on her new jeans.

Thrown into a world of heroes and villains, a secret organization that threatens the life of everyone and everything she knows, Cas has a time limit that is ticking down to the moment everything will end, and only she can save herself and the city she calls home.
