Kristin And Danny's families died in a explosion at the Nasty Burger.

Kristin and Danny believe it is their fault for wanting to go there with each other, and because of that, they had died. Sam and Tucker try to help them get back up on their feet, but it's too much for them to handle.

Danny decides to go to another dimension, and Kristin agrees to go with. Sam and Tucker promise to keep the town safe from ghosts when they leave.

Living a normal life in Jump City, California , these two black haired teens run a bookstore for money.

Somehow Slade knows about these friends' powers even though they haven't used them since the accident.

Slade wants these 2 natural fighters as apprentices, but they are against evil.

Slade goes to drastic measures to blackmail these orphaned children into helping him.

While trying to let the heroes of the city, the Teen Titans, know that they are being blackmailed, these close friends are going through tough times.

Especially because they are always being Misunderstood.
