Watermelon Wishes

Here is a draft to my story "Watermelon Wishes." It was written to be submitted to Harlequin's SYTYCW 15 contest and placed in the Top 50 - THANK YOU so much for your votes! What a wonderful honor! I am so thankful. <3
I hope that you'll find that this story is similar to the style of the Harlequin Heartwarming books.
This first draft is a bit rough around the edges (I apologize for any typos and story blunders, those are currently being worked out) and I thank those who have commented very much! This story is currently being edited and proofread.

SYNOPSIS:
Evey is doing something her big sister thinks is insane... moving away from everything that she's known (including her long time boyfriend, steady job and apartment) in order to follow her dreams of opening a Bed and Breakfast, in a place she's never been to. Evey is unshaken and determined to follow her dreams. But when she arrives in the small Northern California town, she's unhappily surprised to see that there's a contender for the foreclosed property she's been planning to buy. An angry nephew of the previous owner. He's determined to keep the historical property with its "magical" watermelon garden patch in the family. Two stubborn hard-heads face off but maybe more than just watermelons are able to bloom in Watermelon Cove. Maybe two people can learn to put aside their differences and merge their dreams together.
