Harry Styles and Virtue Lee used to be inseparable as kids. Not only were they each other's best friends but they were also each other's first loves.
Five years ago though, their relationship took a turn for the worst as Harry became more self absorbed and famous with one of the most popular boybands of all time known as One Direction.
Now five years later One Direction is on break and Harry decides to come back home. Returning home Harry finds out that the girl he once loved, is no longer the same person he remembered.
Virtue made a promise to herself years ago, after Harry kicked her to the curb, to never let anyone have the power to hurt her again, even if that means pushing everyone away. She, who was once known for being too big, has lost over 20 pounds and has had an extreme makeover.
The question is, after 5 long years will these two ever be able to put the past behind them? Can Virtue forgive Harry? And can Harry help Virtue open herself up again?

I honestly can't really cope with Liams passing so I'm writing a fanfic. This is my way of keeping Liam alive. The idea of the book is one that I pulled from an old unpublished fanfic I wrote in 2014. The idea was to travel back in time to be with one direction, which now seems something I want to do more than ever. I'll tell you now that I decided the main character will travel back from a time where Liam was still alive so she doesn't have to deal with knowing when he'll pass away. Just to keep everything light and fun. Disclaimer I'll publish as I go so sorry if you have to wait for the next chapter, but I'm uploading every other day. Normally I wouldn't publish my writing I'm too much of a perfectionist to share stuff like this but grieving alone really sucks so I'm just hoping us directioners can find comfort within each other. I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. PLEASE, if you want something with better writing and still full of angst, look at my other fics instead (Tempest is my fav) // Harry is upset, he just wants someone to care about him but he keeps pushing everyone away.
