Gerard Way is a lonely young man, confined to a life of isolation due to a very rare genetic disorder that prevents him from coming into contact with sunlight. With a job as a security guard working nights, Gerard's world is claustrophobic and desolate, that is, until he met Frank- a secluded guitar player.
