Moving is hard no matter where you are going, but moving to a new school? It's like a special kind of torture.

Kendra Palmer is normal. She's not the prettiest girl at the dance, she isn't exceedingly wealthy, and she has a temper that's like a flash fire, it flares up at almost any moment.

Yet despite all of this, when she moves to a new school, she's in for more trouble and drama than she had ever asked for. With the attention of most of the boys in school on her in spite of her looks, she is the unwilling recipient of the hatred of Amber, the resident Queen Bee.

Between her own problems with her family, the drama created by Amber, and the, at times odd, focus on her from the boys in school, Kendra has to juggle the events of her life while still keeping a hold on her temper. However, it soon becomes clear that all of this just might not be possible.
