"Don't move," she whispered. He grasped her hand quickly before releasing. She placed a hand gently on his chest and wrapped her thin fingers of her other hand around the arrow shaft in his shoulder. She saw him grimace. 

He let out a blood curling scream as the arrow was ripped from his arm. His body convulsing with pain.
