"To be popular at this school, there are a few requirements that are... required: 1: one must be rich and dress like it. 2: one must have a hot boyfriend who is either rich or of the 'bad boy'- kind (preferably both.) 3: One must have a certain appearance (meaning skinny, expensive looking, fashionable and skanky, if that is required.) Yeah... I can see why I'm the odd one out." In Belle Rose-academy, everything is ruled by skinny, rich girls that seem to live for picking on 'weirdo's.' They always have the most expensive clothes, hottest boyfriends and everything any girl could ever want. Courtney is not one of those girls. Being a relatively poor and boyfriendless, she is the freak of her school. And it doesn't help that she is a size 16. Because of it, she seems the favorite target of the chick-clique. And while one of the most eligible boys of Forrester-school takes an interest in her in a very strange way and her confidence gets crushed again and again, she finds herself giving support to the most unlikely people in this school. In her own awkward way.

Sometimes love is more about the learning curves than the fairytale "Happily Ever After". Because often the world shows us how unkind it can be, how the notion of "good things happen to bad people' actually breathes true. Good people are often the ones with the most scars and disappointments but even with those battle wounds, they are still willing to pursue love. Sometimes it is the people that have been hurt the most, who love the hardest and are intentional in their love. So as hard and painful as these experiences are, these are the chapters that build you, remove the rose-colored glasses from your eyes, and present you with reality... you can choose to harden or to soften to the standards of this world. Follow David and Amelia on their journey, in the most unconventional of places and it changes the way they view the world forever. All events in this book are fictional. Some instances such as events and characters may be based on real life but nothing is 100% factual.
