When Highschooler Sunset Shimmer's School gets a new student that looks remarkably like an old friend her whole life is turned upside down. Her group of friends who were the only ones who accepted her after a horrible mistake she made once, but now they have turned their backs on her to hang out with the new girl. Sunset Shimmer decides to return to her original home: Equestria, the land of ponies. But when she gets there, there is a load of surprises.
