Apartment 354a is the most ominous apartment in the complex, earning that title with its suspicious holed walls and wet carpets. Every now and then it has its own personal blackout...not the best place for Katniss Everdeen, a twenty-three year old filled with anixety due to the disappearence and death of her mother, to stay in alone with her overthinking mind. And no matter how much her Guy-Friend doesn't like it, she needs a roommate to help with it. He especially doesn't like it when Peeta Mellark; her school life's nightmare dressed as everyone else's daydream, walks through the door. But it's only within a few weeks that she notices something is different-something changed his set of mind, despite any odds disagreeing with that fact. And what follows is secret after secret that both have been hiding-or not realizing- being outed, ones kept from the months to years before. However, though the world is changed, it will never truly be safe. ➳➳➳ The years following the war. Post canon, basically what leads to the epilogue. CW: Mild sexual content, violence, death, pregnancy, panic attacks PSA, there will be canon divergence, and the later books will get pretty dark. Also, I wrote this when I was thirteen or fourteen, so even though it's edited, it might not be good.
