Most people aren't aware of the fact that Socrates became a renowned philosopher through his successful career as a heavyweight Muay Thai fighter.
As a child Socrates would often be caught in the boy's bathrooms at school getting slapped around by the older kids because he was 6 foot 3", weighed 170 pounds and had the physique of Hercules. And he never put his physical features to good use. You see, back then in order to survive, parents would send their children to 'Aluxedos Magna' which was a type of school built solely to train children to fight. Once graduated, these children would then go on to display their acquired skills in the 'Arenas Maxim', a massive dome shaped structure with a radius of 12400KM and diameter of 20000KM which contained hundreds of gladiator themed arenas called 'Classus'. It was in these arenas that children would fight against other children, animals and grown adults or participate in a survival game.
Socrates' body appeared to be built to endure such hardships.

What Happens in the Pit
BakuDeku - Midoriya Izuku found himself quirkless and quickly at the non-existent mercy of his classmates as he entered middle school. When Izuku and Katsuki got accepted into UA, the class cheered for Katsuki and jeered at Izuku for daring to pretend to be in the same league as someone like Katsuki, even when Izuku only managed to make it into general studies. So, Katsuki went to UA, and Izuku quietly said, "thanks for the opportunity, but no thanks," and switched to an advanced online schooling option. It was just the rule of the world, and rules were rules. Some things couldn't be helped. Besides... He had a feeling UA would ask too many questions about the constant bruising blooming so beautifully across his face that Aldera staff had so pointedly ignored. And even if UA didn't ask questions about the bruises and abrasions on his face, they definitely would about the ones across his busted knuckles. In the Pit, Midoriya Izuku didn't exist. In the Pit, he was Viper. In the Pit, Viper was a quirkless fighter who still faced prejudice and bias, but everyone fought quirkless in the Pit, so at least it was a level playing field. In the real world, Midoriya Izuku put on a smile and explained his bruises away on him being quirkless and finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. In the Pit, Viper fought back viciously quick and calculating, earning every bruise and giving back just as many. And sometimes he even won.Complete

He took his obsession to a hotel room to have him throw up all over his clothes and then slip and hurt his back. Needless to say he stayed the night to keep him safe. In the morning when a hilarious misunderstanding occurs he convinces his crush to compensate him by marrying him and to his utter disbelief Wei Wuxian agrees, provided that they keep their marriage secret. After receiving the certificate they go their different ways. When Lan Wangji finds out that the Jiangs have not only fired Wei Wuxian but also kicked him out of home, he uses his resources to track his husband and shows up at his door with a pack of beer even though he doesn't drink. The arrows were a sign of hope as when exposed to the air, it chose which people to grant powers from. A visual manifestation of life energy to the user. Ordinary people cannot see it, but people who were granted with these powers can see it. It could not be harm by ordinary things, only other special people can hurt it. This was known as a Stranxx, and people who were granted these powers used it to kill the infestation of Klaxosaur. Some used it for good, some used it for bad but they didn't know that there would be a school just to train your Stranxx and fight Klaxosaurs. Thus we focus on our main protagonist, Hiro. He is Stranxxless but he has a dream, and that dream is to be known as the #1 Hero that destroys Klaxosaurs in one swoop. So he thinks that the program will help him fight the Klaxosaurs. Richie "Trashmouth" Tozier was pretty young when he learned a lot of things. Despite his hyperactive mouth and tendencies, he was actually a very smart person. He learned a few things that weren't taught in school too though. Early on, he learned how it really felt to be starving when his mother would be too drunk to go buy groceries or cook for weeks at a time, too busy stuffing herself with olives, saltines, and alcohol to care. His dad usually ate at the office or the house of whoever he slept around with that night anyways.
