Tori Larsen,15, has always dreamed of being the lead singer of a band with a unique sound. she's always liked all different kinds of music, but she's never been 100% satisfied. So, Toru gathers a group of her peers that you would never expect to get along. This group consists of the following:
Tori Larsen - 15, Lead Vocals, Popular Girl,
Grayson Sixx - 16, Lead Guitarist, Emo, bad boy, very insecure
Paige Taylor - 14, Back up guitarist, shy smart girl, has social anxiety and bipolar depression
August Black - 15, bassist, Popular Band kid (rare), cocky, stuck up
Thalmas Pitts - 15, Drums/keyboard, New boy to the school, misfit, depression
Tori gathers this group together, calls them "At Once, We Rise", and prepares them to take the world by storm. With her new best friends and unique sound, Tori felt as if she was unstoppable.
After At Once We Rise' fourth gig was booked and days away, Tori was in a freak accident with her brother, Alex.
That's when Tori's dream... ends.

Mystique Amberson is a Senior in high school and lives with her older stepsister who has never had to work a day in her life and after she became eighteen, she started having guys buy her things. Since both their parents are gone and don't really pay attention to either one of them, they just send them money every month while they travel. Mystique can't wait for when she graduates in a few months because she would be able to leave finally with the money she has saved up from her job and be able to travel for a bit before going to college. She feels things are going as planned and soon won't have to deal with her step sister's bullying as well as her other school bully who happens to like her stepsister. One day, she gets paired up with her bully to help work on a project and they end up working on the project at her house so he can try to get with her stepsister.
