Pureblood Dahlia Thomson has been asked personally by Dumbledore to watch out for Harry Potter during his school years. She should act as his best friend, all the while keeping an eye out for him. She shouldn't tell anyone what her true purpose is. She isn't planning on becoming his real friend, but as their first year unravels, Dahlia starts to grow fond of the boy who lived.
