Nico is dark, mysterious, and alone in the world.  He is considered and outsider so when a new boy moves in next door, he tries his best to stay away, despite the boy's relentless attempts at friendship.  But, of course, Will is just too convincing and Nico lets his guard down.  Nico doesn't want to ruin Will's reputation but he can't fight his growing feelings forever.

Will is sunny, warm, and good natured.  He just moved into a house next to a handsome, brooding artist-to-be.  Will really wants to be friends but the boy seems to be pushing him away.  Will is determined to become friends with Nico Di Angelo, even if it means he loses the friends he's made.  Nico is everything Will wants in a friend (maybe even more than a friend ;)) and Will refuses to let him slip away.

So this is my Solangelo AU.  I really hope you like it.  It's kind of inspired by some other things I've read so if you've read something like it that's probably why.  If I use your ideas please don't hurt me, I just thought they were cool and I wanted to do something similar and I really admire your work.  Ok my lovely uNICOrns.  Enjoy!

Nico diAngelo didn't really have a problem with moving, he just continued his life how it was before. Writing, listening to music, sitting in the back of the classroom, making sure not to get too close to anyone, and maybe falling asleep in class. Also spending half of his energy keeping himself from falling apart. That is, until he met Will. Will was like medicine for his heart. When Will held his hand, it felt as if he could relax and let go of his troubles, but when he had to let go, that was something he wasn't ready for, causing to have meltdowns for the first time in a long time. Will had been living a rather boring life in his town, same faces, same friends, he wanted change. When the new boy was in some of his classes at the start of the new school year, Will couldn't help but be curious after seeing the same faces almost all of his life. He was drawn to him in some way he couldn't describe, and couldn't help falling for him as they spent more time together. This book has characters that are created by Rick Riordan, yet there are a few, like Nico's father which is a small character that I created. This book has come from my own imagination, and if it seems that parts of the plot are from another story, that is entirely coincidental.

After one look at him, I saw how completely beautiful he was. \ NPOV- I scrambled to my feet, terrified of what the prince would do with me, but my head pounded and I felt my legs shake and give out. I shut my eyes tight as I started to fall, but just before I hit the ground, a pair of strong, but gentle arms wrapped around me, yet again. I opened my eyes to see the Prince's worried eyes as he held me steady in his arms.

Having schizophrenia was a pain sometimes, but it didn't mean Nico was crazy, even if the voices told him he was. The real ones, and the ones in his mind. The only person he could ever consider a friend would be his psychologist (aka his therapist), Jenny, who he had grown a strong connection with over the 4 years he had been going to see her. He didn't trust anyone else. Nico knew that no one would look past it all like she does. That is, until Will Solace enters the picture, the happy go lucky college student striving to be a therapist. What could go wrong? . This is a solangelo fan fiction and will have swearing, mental illnesses and there may be triggering moments that will have warnings. I will hopefully capture Nico's point of view accurately, and what he his going through, but I have never experienced schizophrenia so it may not be perfect. . Kinda going through editing?
