Hope is a survivor. when she was born she wasn't breathing for 2 min. When she was 5 she fell into a lake and began to swim. When she was 7 she got a sickness that has killed over 700 children across the world and felt better in two days. She doesn't know what to expect anymore. When trouble occurs in the family she must take care of the house. Can she take care of her family or will she run from her problems and life. When will Hope's luck run out?

Hope has always expected the worst when it comes to people. Although who could blame her? Since she was about the age of five Hope and her brother Gavin have been in foster care. They never knew their father. Before they were born he had left their mother to be a teen mom on her own. As for their mother to them, she was the most wonderful and caring person they knew. To everyone else she was A depressed mother that had spent more time on drugs than off of them. She cared about her kids she really did, she just didn't know how to handle them. Hope has always been there for her little brother. She hides all of her problems and focuses on her twin brother making sure that he is always happy and dosent know about her problems, because honestly at this rate shes turning into their mom. This unexpected change in weather managed to turn my mood around badly. I can't deny that I love rain, but when you have no place to dry up in after enjoying the raindrops as they pelt down against your skin, you can't help but dread the rainy days. But, I guess I'm somewhat lucky, for the rain didn't decide to fall while I was making my way to 'The Heaven'. And, as soon as I came to a stop in front of the store's door, I felt the first drop of rain fall onto my skin, and for the first time in my life, I looked up and made a wish before opening the door and stepping into a store that could help in deciding my fate. ------------ Leila is a teenager who has nothing at all, yet alone have anything to lose. After getting thrown out of the orphanage, that her mother left her in as a baby, on her eighteenth birthday, she has to make a living for herself out of her high school diploma and what little money she has saved over the years.
