It was too late. I lost my balance and fell from the swing I was sat on, my right leg entwining itself in the rope. I heard a crack. Felt a burst of pain. A loud, ear-piercing screech escaped my lips as the rope wound itself tighter around my leg, crushing it more. Tears fell from my dark eyes. I saw the curtains closing as I was quickly lowered to the ground and people surrounded me."
