John Egbert is a fourth year Hufflepuff student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He has friends in different houses, including Dave Strider, a fourth year Gryffindor. For some strange reason, the Hufflepuff tower of Hogwarts gets... A bit wet, so to say and Hufflepuff students were welcome to salvage anything from the flood they could and stay in any of the other three towers. John chose to stay in Gryffindor tower, seeing as two his friends and his sister were in the same dorm room. Unfortunately, there's a thunder storm the next night. Why is this unfortunate you ask? Well, you see, John is terribly afraid of thunder and lightning. And he doesn't have the comfort of his friend Kanaya to calm him down. Yup, you see the problem now don't you?
