I'm sorry. Is that what you want to hear? It's been days, according to Isabelle, but it's begun to feel like months. I miss going to school, seeing family and friends, taking out the dogs, going to McDonald's and any other place I could get some fast food; Any food other than the usual pears, oranges, even apples if I'm that lucky. People around here think that I'm the crazy one! Here I am, a normal seventeen year old girl, forced to be in this weird, unnatural town with animals who have more freedom than I did in the first place, pay unrealistic amounts of money to said animals for a house, and have no real job in order to get the house I truly deserve since I'm stuck here for who knows how long.
To think, all of this happened because I got mad at my brother for something I don't even remember, took his stupid game, started it, and just so happened to, well, not save the game. Now, I'm stuck in what I guess the big man upstairs would call punishment.
Yes! Finally! 100 down, 398,000 to go! Sorry, I got a bit distracted. Hah, makes me laugh at times like these, times when I mentally tell my mother something that completely goes against every argument we had when I was little and begging for a toy she couldn't get me. This was the first time I had laughed in forever, but I wish I could tell her to her face to see the amusement in her eyes.
Yes, mum. Money does fall from the trees...
When the truth comes out, there's nowhere left to run.
Season 3 of Eliona's War
***
When Seth received a new virtual reality video game from his uncle, he wasn't expecting to get swept up into a whole new world called Eliona. As it turned out, Eliona and its people are far more dangerous than Seth could ever have imagined. There is a real consequence to playing this game: it's changing him, and it might not be for the better.
Now that Seth/Severance knows the truth of Eliona, there's no going back. Eliona is dying, and in order to save it, he needs to beat a very difficult dungeon before anyone else does. And on Earth, things are even worse. It's come to light that Eliona is leaving a mark on its players, and suddenly, everyone wants to be involved. Players find themselves with a target on their back, and Seth? He might just have the biggest one of all.
Too bad for them, he's done running.
