Sequel to Not Important.
[On Hold. Sorry guys. It will carry on when I feel it's not a chore and when I've gotten past this writers block along with the many problems in facing when writing two versions of the same story. Sorry for any inconvenience]

Devon has long since went off the edge since her dad died. Coming back to town, or dragged back, she is forced to continue her old life and finish school. But with her old friends hating her still and demanding answers, it proves harder for Devon to keep going.

Quite like her being dragged back into this mess, a new friend is pushed into her life, none other than Kyle. Then, what more but two members of her old gang? And then there's a mystery guy. One Devon once knew and is beyond shocked to see again. With all of this going on, and trying to get back into her old friends' lives, she continues on with her plan.

But what if, like her father being dragged into her problems with her gang, her friends are dragged in as well? Devon's life is a constant spiral that only descends into darkness. New friends, old enemies, a load of baggage and family members that always pop up at the wrong moments.

What if Devon's not good enough to protect them all?

And then the new girl shows up with her amazing dance moves and intoxicatingly confusing logic, and he can't seem to get her out of his head. She isn't the favorite girl of the school, not to mention his friends, and she doesn't show any interest towards him, but he has to try. The girl with the mysterious ways has got him wrapped around her scarred little finger. Not Andy Being the girl with no friends is never easy- especially when you have major trust issues and problems that can only be discussed with a shrink. That's why instead of slowly letting people into her life, she chose to shut them out completely. It seems easier that way, which is until she moves to Bangor, Maine and catches the eye of Cole, the football quarterback and heart throb of the school. He makes her feel things that she didn't think we're capable, and he shows how to make a bad situation into something semi-tolerable. It gets her thinking that maybe cliche boys with secrets aren't such a bad thing. During their 17th year, Andy and Cole must face the problems of high school, social hierarchy, their pasts, relationships, trust, friendships, and even love. Both of them knowing that stories like this never happen to kids like them, but they're willing to try anyway.

Not everyone's trust issues come from failed relationships. Sometimes, it comes from the family and friends closest to us. Griffin Miller and Parker Graham are living, breathing testaments to this truth. Somewhere on Griffins life path, between living with his perfect twin sister, fighting tooth and nail for his dads approval, and competing against his NFL-bound cousin, Griffin lost sight of what matters most in life: Peace. Health. Time. Purpose. If Griffin thought the first 18 years of his life were tough, it's nothing like what the past 5 months have been. Football, family, classes, and trying to keep his cousin alive is wearing him thin. Too thin. Parker is still reeling from a sudden life change that happened to him nearly six months ago. There's a chance that he could've healed by now, however without the support of his closest cousin & with the way his uncle is forcing him back onto the football field, those wounds are reopened every day. Even as Parkers life slowly becomes normal again, he still struggles to become the person that he used to be. When one little mistake during senior year changes the trajectory of both of their lives, it's too late to change. Parker can't do anything but stand back and watch his cousins life burn to the ground, hoping that his won't be next. Griffin is forced to chose between three choices: forgive his past, wreck his own future, or break all of the rules that he's been obeying for years. - - - It's like my lungs refuse to suck down air. They don't want to live after what just happened. Someone forces life back into them by slamming an oxygen mask over my nose and mouth. A million different people get the stretcher underneath me. Torment digs its' claws into my skin and rips it away. Grief squeezes real tears out of my eyes for the first time in eight years. Karma leans down next to me and whispers in my ear: 'You can't outrun me anymore.'
