Eris had everything that a lady would desire; Loving parents, a group of peers, beautiful blue eyes, kissable red lips, a mansion as a house, servants that would follow her every whim and not to mention, the title of “Duchess” attached to her name. She had a wonderful future ahead of her. Everything was perfect. Everything was going well.

But all of that perfection crumbled when an accident took the lives of her parents; the people that she loved the most. Her dream of leading a perfect life was shattered. Everything that seemed so flawless was suddenly tainted. She lost her family. Something that meant everything to her. 

Everything was ruined. She was on her way to the arms of Death itself, until, a strange creature offered her a deal. A deal that would change her life lest she accepts it. The creature offered her freedom from the clutch of death and vengeance for her parent’s deaths, but, the price she has to pay? Her soul. Unwittingly, she took the deal. And she knew that the strange creature she made a deal with is none other than, a Demon. 

Now back from the clutches of Death, she makes her way in the tangled and deceitful streets of England to uncover the secrets and mysteries behind her parents' murders.
As she uncover the lies and the truths behind the murder, she unknowingly unravels the secret of the demon she made a pact with.
Is he really what he seems to be?
Is he truly the malevolent and self-centered creature that he claims?
Or is that just a facade that hides the true creature within? A creature capable of love, kindness, compassion, and care.
As she slowly finds out for herself, she could not deny the attraction that she feeling towards the demon. He just makes her feel different. 
And could the demon himself admit that he is also feeling the same way towards her?

Is this love?

She need to be taught her place, underneath him. She was to become his slave, everything in these past sixteen years now meant nothing to him. "Listen Kenzy, I know I've been an ass and truthfully maybe you shouldn't even bother returning my calls. Too afraid to give in, too afraid that if I reach for the phone, I'll call. I'll call to make it right. I want to make it right, because this man affects me more than I ever thought he would. But it isn't right. I can't give myself false hope. "Please just talk to me, let me explain. It's not you.....it's me. I'm the asshole. You don't deserve this, you didn't. ..."
