This story is about a girl named Carly Smith she is 15 and is a sophomore in high school she always gets A's in all her classes and never is late to class until she gets assigned to Nathan Skye the schools football team captain for a class project. Now Nathan Skye he is completely the opposite of Carly he always gets bad grades except in one class and he has that class with Carly but he is always late to class he never listens to anyone all he does is sit in the back of the classroom and be on his phone sometimes without getting caught by the teacher but the thing about Nathan is that he is known as a player but when Nathan & Carly are assigned together who knows what could happen.

"What's your problem?" He asks darkly. "What's your problem?" I spit back. "Why do you keep following me?" He hisses. "I don't follow you!" I shout back. "Then how come where ever I go you end up going or being there?" He questions in a raised voice. "Its a coincidence." I say back in the same tone. He then moves forward towards me, and I take a step back but my back hits the brick wall. He puts his arms up his palms against the wall caging me in looking into my eyes. I won't look at him though, I look to the ground scared. "Just leave me alone...stay away." He whispers in my ear before he walks away to his car with his head down. -- When Dylan accidentally bumps into Mason in school things change. Dylan isn't scared away from him, or the rumors about him. She wonders about him, and what is up with him. When Mason decides Dylan needs to stay away from him he can't seem to keep it that way. He has a weird need to protect her... From everything. Which means finding out about her past... Will he soften up around her, or keep is bad boy dangerous ways? What happened when his fighting life comes into his normal life? What will happen when they find out about Dylan? Will Mason be able to keep her safe? Or will his boss find a way to keep him fighting?
