This is a fan-fiction based on the video game series, Clock Tower, that was released in the late 90's. It's not widely popular, or heard of, but has a cult following.
The first game, self titled, was released for the SuperNES, PC, and PS1. I understand that many of the readers here on Wattpad are a younger generation and might not know what a SuperNES is, or even a PS1, and probably never heard of Clock Tower.
The game is about a young girl, Jennifer, who survived a murder when she was very young. The game opens when she is in her early teens and fighting for sanity as she tries to remind herself that the nightmares are only dreams, and the past is the past, all the while trying to feel safe. Except The murders have begun again, and though the series is labeled as "copy-cat," Jennifer isn't convinced. In chapters of the game you play as Jennifer, or other core characters, as you live through the horror and mystery of the Clock Tower murders, and unearth the truth of the infamous killer, Scissorman.

Released! 12/12/24 ------------------------- A mysterious online blogger, who exclusively writes about the history and encounters of witchcraft, and claims to be a witch themself, is revealed to have a traumatic history. Maybe the blogs written by '0_Zero_0' aren't as crazy as people think they are? Who are they? What dark past still haunts them today? This story is the second entry into a multi-layered saga, and will be a bit longer than the first story. If you haven't already, be sure to check out the first entry; 'The Spirit Rings' if you like, as there will be some references to it that will more sense when you see it. For context, the first 2 parts of this story will be slightly different to parts 3 and 4, as you will be guided by Zero through his memories, furthermore, any speech in parts 1 and 2 will also be in a memory, not in the real world. (this will make sense as you read to the end) Blog posts are in italics to show that they are not part of his memory. I am Alice Voltaire, a Nekomimi previously working under the security devision of the Mythical Protection Alliance (MPA) (around the December entries was when I start having issues, and December eleventh was when I planned out how to quit my job). The company is currently in undercover war with AWTOK/Hunters. This is serious, as many Mythicals have gotten serious injuries or killed, and innocent humans can be endangered. Even humans can find a place here in this journal, possibly choosing to work to become a Mythical (You will see later on in this book as I progress and grow as a person that I am prepared for war, but was hoping it did not happen). I am also a Neko Shapeshifter (meaning I have a full neko form) and later on in this book, I become a Kitsunemimi/unlock a Kitsunemimi form. I practice dream eating magic, but don't tend to use it often (later on, I start learning Confectiokinesis). I have more forms and powers than this, but please see me as a Kitsune. Little Spark
One of the most *frequently asked questions* I get from readers of my published novels: "Was Dear Martin the first book you ever wrote?" The answer is no. Dear Martin was the third. The second (at long last!) will be published in Spring 2022, but the first will never see the light of day... Or so I used to say. *Used to* because we are currently in the thick of a literal global pandemic. And we're bored. And trying to stay motivated/encouraged/hopeful, etc. etc. So here it is. Nic Stone's first EVER novel that wasn't supposed to see the light of day. Starting today, April 1st, 2020, I'll post a chapter a day for the next 50 days (you read that right; this joint is LONG) and will leave it up indefinitely. You will laugh--AT me, but also occasionally with me. You will roll your eyes. You will have moments when you wonder if *The Nic Stone* actually wrote this long and intensely tropey and cliche book. About a 16-year-old biracial girl who sometimes glows in the dark, and after the death of her mother, discovers not only some latent supernatural abilities, but a prophesied mission she'll need them for. It is not professionally edited and is likely full of typos (though this was like the twelfth draft). It hasn't been beta-read and probably has some problematic rep in it. But my hope is that by posting it as-is, someone out there who doesn't feel *good enough* will see THIS starting point of a #1 New York Times bestseller and will be encouraged to get the story nagging at them down on paper.
