Kurenami receives an old, antique heirloom on her sixteenth birthday-a music box especially from her mother, and finds it to be such an unusual thing for her to have kept, being in Japan as it is not part of their culture. When she fell asleep after winding up the lullaby within the music box, she starts dreaming of herself experiencing memories from an entire past life. The memories of this long burgundy red-haired girl, the same eye color as Kurenami as turquoise as the seas, and a life so lavish as to be the only vampire queen that has reigned until the ultimate genocide of that universe. Kurenami had consecutive dreams of being the same person doing different things everyday, and told her best friend about it-who found it quite hard to believe, because she had thought she would be reading too much historic books and fantasy literature. What would become of those realistic dreams?
