It’s the year 500 B.C.E. Life is simple, everyone had a job to do. Whether it was a housewife or a Hoplite. The Greco-Roman gods rule the earth and skies. But, they are forbidden any interaction with humans that inhabit the earth. This ancient rule has been enforced for hundreds of years, it is documented in the scrolls of Olympus. But Dionysus was not always aware of this rule for he was once a human. His name was Tryphon. He lived on a small sheep farm outside of the beautiful city of Athens. Tryphon was a good person growing up. He always helped the less fortunate. But as time went on foolish decisions took over his life. When Tryphon became of age he was forced to become a hoplite. Though he managed to survive his 5 years in the line of duty war took a toll on him. Mental wounds that would never heal. Time passes on as it would usually do until he met a beautiful woman named Sapphira.
