My friend and I rewrote The Outsiders chapter 10 because we didn't like the fact Dally died. This chapter is still in Ponyboy's point of view but it focuses on Dally and why he didn't kill himself.

Ponyboy and Johnny had no other choice, they had to travel upstate, risking their bond and possibly separating.
