Bethany McGee, is a nerdy, geeky, short girl with greasy hair and tons of acne. She's sixteen years old and she still hasn't had a boyfriend. She would rather study for her AP Literature and Composition class than to go swimming with friends. One day, Bethany's friends persuade her with a little bribery, to get Cody Strong, the most popular guy in school, to fall in love with her by the end of the school year and break his heart, but that's not easy when he's your worst enemy. She has been tormented everyday since 4th grade by him and still hasn't let up on it. Cody is the big man on campus, the heartthrob of all teenage girls, the guy every young male wants to be, and on top of that he has all A's and B's. Beth agrees very relucantly only because she wants to get back at him for breaking all the heart's of girls and for revenge. Will she be able to seduce him into falling in love with her? What happens if along her own journey she begins to have feelings of love towards him? She can't let anyone, especially Cody himself, know about her bet with her friends to break his heart, but what happens if someone has loose lips?
