Clara Carson, now 16, is at the age in which werewolves find their other half, their mate. At school, Clara passes unnoticed and is extremely quiet. When she does find the courage to talk to others its usually just a few words. But at home Clara is alive with the warm love of her family as well as the warm love of the doctors in Doctor Who, and her 12 seasons of Supernatural of course! As her favorite shows grow into her heart, Clara starts to think that maybe she doesn't need a mate to be happy. But those thoughts are quickly changed.

Alpha Jensen is, of course, part of the more popular group of school, but puts a hand smack in the face of every girl who isn't his mate. With all his good looks, he surely catches the attention of many girls in the school, but returns their ogling stares with a more disgusted and angered one. Jensen is almost 17, and is starting to wonder if he'll ever find his mate. But Jensen is not your everyday Alpha.
